Mission Statement: The Christine Ayres School exists to preserve and promote the art of traditional Irish dancing by providing individuals with the opportunity to learn and enhance their knowledge and skills and compete at local, state, national and international competition.
Vision Statement: Honour the past, achieve in the present and create the future.
The Christine Ayres School of Irish Dancing has a history of more than 25 years focusing on fun, fitness, teamwork and friendship. The School boasts State and National Champions in solo, ceili and figure dancing and are winners of the 2012, 2018 and 2024 World Championships.
From complete beginners to advanced levels, all classes are taught by professional, qualified Irish dance instructors who provide a supportive and fun learning environment for boys and girls. With classes across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, we offer tuition for aspiring Irish dancers of all ages!
